The MEG Forum

MEG has their own online message board. Message boards are an online forums were anyone can post news, interests, issues, ideas and/or questions, with the expectation that people will reply back to them, creating a discussion. There aren't really any rules concerning the content of whats posted (eg doesnt have to be solely of an environmental nature) besides the respect for your fellow poster. The message board is basic and quite easy to use - you can either take a few minutes to become a registered user, or post simply as a guest. The Message board on this site is an outlet for lengthy elaboration of anything from current enviro issues, to how good the soups in wholefoods are, to the things we couldnt get around too in MEG meetings. The Message board promotes indepth discussion and healthy debate (hopefully!) - and it's ideal for people who can't make the meetings on Thursday to really get involved. The message board allows people from other Campus groups, Universities or Enviro organisations to also join in and add to the discussion and further improve networking. All are welcome!

Message board instructions -

Follow the below link to get to the message board (the board is hosted by proboards.com). If you wish to register as a member (allows you to register your name) you may do so (it takes a few minutes) and if you have already registered, you only have to login (appears in the top right hand corner) for you to be able to post under your chosen name (remember if your using a public computer to log out once you've finished your session). Anyone not registered still may post, but you can only post under the alias of "guest". Once your ready to post you can click the 'General Board' link. You'll see messages from your fellow users which you can open to read, and 'reply' to at your leisure. To start your own discussion, click 'New Thread' within the 'General Board' section. It's ALOT easier then it sounds! I'd recommend first going to the link below and getting a feel for the site, if your not familiar with message boards. For more indepth help, there is a help option linked from the board in the top toolbar.
